Last gym-ing and swimming session

26th Sep 2008, Friday - I had my last gym-ing and swimming session in glasgow since my gym membership is going to expire tomorrow.

The gym is fully equipped with a new set of sport equipments!!! But i personally perferred the old one. Right after gym, i went swimming.

Today, I am proud to share that I CAN FINALLY SWIM.

Thank you yhs for going swimming with me for the very first time in glasgow, for the subsequent times, plus joining gym together. Thank you edmond and sm for joining the gym together! And most importantly, thank you Jemma, Mark and sei ah phek for guiding me trough the beginner swimming classes.

I gave myself a swimming status of 1/10 during my second visit to the pool in glasgow, and now, i shall give myself at least a 6/10 for being able to swim laps without problems.

YipppPppeee!

Dinner at Asian Style was very disappointing.

8.50 pounds for 8 pieces of sambal sotong was definitely overpriced.

Fried rice using nasi lemak rice suck!

Luckily, dinner was saved by this big plate of 'wak tan hor' priced at 7 pounds.

Asian style at glasgow GG-ied. Swimming and gym-ing gg-ied. I hope that i can swim more frequent in future.

During our trip to Italy, we have an extra morning to be spent in Lido island, Venice.

Initially, she tried to follow what i did...

- and yes, she did it, exactly the same.

Then, she tried again to follow my other pose...

This time, she failed. :)

ADV - online sport videos

I have spent hours browsing through total sport video network, watching SportsVids today. There are alot of amazing sport clips on the site.

What is your favourite sport game? Who is your favourite star/role model?

Football is the game for everyone. It is a universal game for everyone. Everybody is just crazy for it. Famous world class football players included David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and many more. Out of all, David Beckham remains the hero in a football field. He plays midfield and he is the captain of England national football team. Here is a highlight video of David Beckham.

From the recent Beijing Olympic Games 2008, there is one name that everyone will definitely remember - Usain Bolt. He broke 2 world records, both 100m and 200m run. He is the hero in Olympic Games history. Watch how Usain Bolt beat the rest of world runners in 100m Beijing Olympic Final.

Usain Bolt Breaks New World Record

Besides that, he broke the 200m record set by Micheal Johnson too. Watch the video of Michael Johnson.

Michael Johnson 200m World Record '96 Olympics

I like Bolt very much, he is definitely the star of Olympic Games. I admire this guy for everything - he broke olympic records at his young age, his speed is almost unbelieveable.

Another Olympic Star would be Michael Phelps. With the perfect body and unlimited energy that he owns, he became the swimming star of today after winning 8 gold medals in ONE Olympic Games.

Michael Phelps World Record 200m Fly

Last but not least, for anyone who hearts basketball, you must be in love with Kobe Bryant of Los Angeles Lakers too. He is as famous as Micheal Jordan as a world class NBA basketball player.

Ireland trip 4days 3 nights gg-ied part 2

After completing our journey at Carrick-a-rede rope bridge, we made our way to Whitepark bay - a beautiful sea (Ocean).

We were wondering why there isnt a single one swimming in the beautiful sea.

To our surprise, there was a board stating that it is not safe to swim in the sea. The sea behind us is atlantic ocean!

Next, we spent a couple of hours at Giant's Causeway.

The Giant's Causeway is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it has an astonishing complex of over 38,000 mainly hexagonal shaped columns packed closely together to form 'stepping stones' out to sea towards Scotland. Read full legendary story of Giant's Causeway here.

We were very fortunate to have a dry day, as climbing became simpler than in a wet day.

It was believed that the hexagonal stones formed the wishing chair. As the legend says, all wishes made by anyone at the Wishing Chair will come true. It was really an amazing feeling to visit Giant's Causeway.

There were alot of walking in the same day. We walked for at least 7km around Giant's Causeway area.

There were also some features found at the Giant's Causeway which were associated with the giant Finn MacCool.

The Giant's Eye

The Giant Organ Pipes

From the visitor centre, we walked towards the Giant's Causeway. We then walked passed the Giant's gate and Giant's boot to reach the Giant's Eye. We walked from one mountain end to the other mountain end to make our way back to the visitor centre.

After Giant's Causeway, we visited the Bushmill Distillery. Ticket was prices at 5.50 euros and we chose not to enter the distillery.

In the end, we bought some food from the nearby grocery shop - SPAR and prepared our own dinner that night.

On the following day, we made our way to Dublin city centre, stopping by Belfast for changing of bus.

Dinner at Thunder road cafe was great. We chose this American restaurant over the Irish restaurant.

Then we made our way to the Guinness Storehouse the next morning.

I hate Guinness when i was in Malaysia. But when i was in Dublin, Guinness tasted not too bad. I can actually accept the taste! -_-"

There were also several famous bridges in Dublin city.

If you ask me to go back to Dublin again next time, i will answer "uh uh, no thank you.". I dont mind going back to Northern Ireland for another trip in future.

Ireland trip GG-ied. Leaving to Italy trip this midnight.
